This is by far one of the colourful times of the year for many people , with the leaves changing colours and starting to drop. We are fortunate enough to only live only a couple of hours from the mountains so have the pleasure of whatching the foliage turn from green to orange and eventually brown . These were a couple of shots we took on a day out with the dogs and Linda getting back on her feet:

The last few months have been a rollercoaster ride with everything that has happened here in the states, but finally managed to take some time off and relax for a couple of days, well for me that was, but for Linda it was a recovery time from her operation. Finally the ordeal with Sean and the false accusations from the teacher are now past, so we can move forward with lessons learnt. Unfortunately we awoke the other morning to find our cat (Gizzy ) was not at the bottom of the bed, which was abnormal. A few minutes later we found out that he had been hit by a car during the night, so he is now at rest with Tag our first cat we had here. So in memory :

Newtons 3rd law states:

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

I beg to differ….A topic that has been adressed earlier today gave me mixed emotions….and I began to think more in depth of actions….specificly chain reactions….

I will use todays problem to explain what I thought about….

Today a person by the name of “student” was late….”teacher” had told him to go to lockout as it was his second offence….(it was his first time being late!)……Now if you think he lost a good 5 minutes going to lockout and doing the needed steps and coming back to class…..5 mins he could have been learning or helping someone…..Now if he had the 5 minutes to learn he would have read something to motivate him to do better…..but instead he now looks at school with a distain for all teachers….

Now his future has been changed by one persons stupidity…He might have become a proffessor, a marine biologist, “student”might have been the one to save humanity from tearing itself apart………………..

But now his future is even a little bit less bright in his eyes….He may go home and swear at his parents, he may go home and never come back, ”student” could have such hate for people working for schools that he might try to get rid of school totally from this world….

The new law should be: for every action, there is a unknown effect.

no matter what you do…you will affect something….You may be killing someone just by stepping on a seed on the sidewalk…..that seed would’ve become a fruit tree that grows during a war, and it feeds the people who have no food…..But now that seed has no future to save others…..People will starve…People will die because of OUR actions we take!

By me typing this, I have no clue of the outcome or even fathom the effects this article will have for the future….

I myself am scared to make any actions….but every thought is an action….

Bovril is in the left, is a daschund-chihuahua-rat terrier mix. He is a leap year baby, of 2008. Although we have had him the longest of the three he is the youngest.

Taz is in the right, is a chihuahua-daschund mix (no rat terrier). She was born sometime in january, 2009. She is our “oldest” dog.

Last but not least is Sandy, she is the below picture. She is just a plain chihuahua. Hmm the breeds are shrinking… She was born sometime in March 2010.

Taz and Sandy will bark at you if they see you, but Bovril will come up to you waggging his tail wanting to make friends.

It’s a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”
